Who we are
Nudge me Ready (“the App”) is a personal reminder and support app provided by Helen Cunliffe.
What data we store
The App is designed to keep your information on your device:
- Nudges, notes, appointments, lists, reminders, and attachments you create
- Profile details you enter (name, email, phone, photo)
- Crew memberships and invitations stored on your device
- Optional home location and leaving-home checklist settings
- App lock settings (PIN/password hashes and Face ID preference) in the device secure store
We do not operate a cloud account system in this version. Your nudge data is not uploaded to our servers for sync or backup unless you later enable a feature that clearly says it does.
Device permissions
Depending on which features you use, the App may ask for:
- Microphone / speech recognition — voice capture
- Notifications — reminder alerts
- Location — optional leaving-home reminders
- Contacts — optional guest and contact linking
- Calendars — optional saving of appointments/events to your phone calendars (including iCloud, Google, or Outlook calendars already on the device)
- Camera / photos — profile picture and document attachments
- Face ID / biometrics — optional app unlock
You can refuse or revoke these in your phone Settings.
Sharing
- Calendar / contacts / email / SMS / WhatsApp features use your device apps and accounts. We do not receive the contents of those shares.
- Crew invite links can include invite details needed for someone to join your crew on their device. Only share invites with people you trust.
Security
App lock (Face ID, PIN, or password) and on-device encryption protect data stored by the App on your phone. No security measure is perfect. Keep your device passcode on, and keep your recovery code somewhere safe if you enable app lock.
Children
The App is not directed at children under 13. If you use it for family support, the person setting it up should be an adult.
Your choices
- Delete nudges and attachments in the App
- Clear all nudges in Settings
- Turn off app lock, location, contacts, or calendar access in the App or phone Settings
- Uninstall the App to remove local App data from the device (subject to OS behaviour)
Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
